Navjot Jassar

In this episode host Neha Saxena sits down with Punjabi poet Navjot Jassar, to discuss her poem ‘Arnab’ which is featured in this year's PULSE Zine. Navjot talks about the importance of pursuing justice through art.

What is PULSE Zine?

PULSE is a zine created annually by the Students of Colour Collective (SOCC) at the University of Victoria. The zine aims to celebrate our communities, and provide an outlet for BIPOC to share their experiences, stories and artistry. This year, the PULSE zine includes a podcast component, in collaboration with CFUV 101.9FM, wherein each episode we sit down with a BIPOC artist who is featured in this year's edition of PULSE, to talk about art, the importance of community, and what compels them to create.
