Daley Perspective

Mr Daley and Sayuri Da Queen dive into another relationship topic and chop it up about polygamy and polyamorous relationships.

Show Notes

We have long been conditioned to believe that relationships are between 1 man and 1 woman but in history and religious texts, we are exposed to the notion of a man being married to multiple women. In many cultures outside of Western civilisation, the idea of a man being married to multiple wives is still normal and practised by communities in these cultures. So why has the western world deemed polygamy to be an outdated practice?
Why is it no longer acceptable for a man to have multiple wives?
Is it the concern of anyone outside of the relationship if consenting adults decide to be part of a polygamous relationship?
Can it work?
Is it biblical?
What are the pitfalls?

Mr Daley talks to Sayuri Da Queen and others to get a view of how we feel about this.

What is Daley Perspective?

Daley perspective is a look at life through the imperfect eyes of me, Mr Daley! I am a Christian, a husband, a father and so much more. I am passionate about life, love, food, sex, art, music, fitness and many things in between and this podcast documents my journey through life asking the questions that many are too shy to ask, too prudish to address and too scared to react too. My thoughts and opinions are my own but believe me, I will not shy away from sharing them.
