This week’s message reminded us that before restoration comes release. Preaching from Genesis 43:8-14, Pastor Chinyere Olujide showed how Jacob had to release Benjamin before he could experience restoration through Joseph.
Sometimes the very thing we hold onto too tightly can blind us to what God is trying to do next. Whether it is fear, control, pain, unforgiveness, old mindsets, or even a version of ourselves we have become comfortable with, God often calls us to surrender before He brings breakthrough.
The message encouraged us to trust God’s process, loosen our grip, and believe that on the other side of surrender is restoration, healing, and blessing.
