The DC Beer Show

Jacob, Mike, and Brandy talk about the winner of Boundary Stone's DC Beer Week Battle Of The Barrel-Aged Beer, the latest details on Other Half Brewing Company's new Ivy City location, which has begun initial production, and more DC bars and restaurants are closing permanently.

Show Notes

Jacob, Brandy, and Mike return to talk about Port City's big win in the 2020 Boundary Stone Battle of the Barrel-Aged Beer.

Local beer lovers have long anticipated the opening of Other Half in Ivy City. Jake has been there and has news to report!

Things get a bit sad as they talk about the recent rash of bars and restaurants announcing they are closing permanently or indefinitely. It's tough times out there, people, so support your locals and help them — and their employees — make it through the pandemic.

Big shout-outs to Hellbender, Silver Branch, Bluejacket, and Atlas for their LAGERS. Congratulations to NRG for their lower-ABV venues, Shelter and the Roost.
