The Meat Mafia Podcast

Man's search for meaning is a tail as old as time. It's something we all deal with at one point or another, and ultimately it's the question that all of us face every day. Are we living a life of purpose? Are we serving others in a meaningful way? What good can I do with my time here on Earth? As a 42-year-old man, Adrian Grenier began feeling the intensity of these questions in a more visceral way. As an A-list celebrity, Adrian, or Vinny Chase as most people know him, had everything you could possibly imagine a Hollywood movie star would have. With the notoriety, accolades, and money, came with it a deep misalignment and years of struggling to reach his potential as a man. But, at 42 years old, everything changed. Adrian decided to move his life to Austin and downsize everything, going from seeking everything to striving for simple. For a full year, he lived in a camper van outside of Austin and focused on things he felt really mattered - raising his own food, learning tangible skills, and connecting with mother nature. Through his forced change, Adrian started to see his life evolve from one of fleeting materialism to deep meaning and connectedness. In our conversation with Adrian, we go deep into his hero's journey to find meaning in life and make a real impact in this world.

What is The Meat Mafia Podcast?

The Meat Mafia Podcast is hosted by @MeatMafiaBrett and @MeatMafiaHarry with the mission of addressing fundamental problems in our food and healthcare system. Our concerns with our healthcare system can be drawn back to issues in our food system as far back as soil health. Our principles are simple: eat real foods, buy locally, and cook your own meals.

When you listen to our podcast, you will hear stories and conversations from people working on the fringes of the food and healthcare system to address the major crises overshadowing modern society: how do we become healthy again?
