Chris Watkin is ARC Future Fellow and Associate Professor of European Languages (French) at Monash University, Melbourne. He is the author of a number of books in modern French philosophy including Difficult Atheism (2011), French Philosophy Today (2016) and Michel Serres: Figures of Thought (2021). He has also published widely on the relationship between theology, philosophy and culture, including
Biblical Critical Theory: How the Bible's Unfolding Story Makes Sense of Modern Life and Culture (2022), recently named the
