Today’s Advent devotion from First Baptist Athens is offered by Al Lee. Gabriel’s announcement to Mary is told in the gospel of Luke, chapter 1, verses 26-38. The passage is being read today from the Contemporary English Version. Prior to the reading of the scripture, the voice of Alan Hester invites God’s presence singing O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.
