Imperfectly Human: A Transparent Walk With Mr. Daley

In this episode of the Imperfectly Human podcast, Mr Daley discusses the all-important task of goal setting, whilst sharing tidbits of his life experiences over the last couple of weeks.

Show Notes

We all have goals and dreams! We all want to achieve something. The endpoint may not have crystalised in our minds, in fact, it may be a hazy dream seemingly riddled with obstacles but irrespective of that, it is our dream. So how do we make this seemingly hazy dream a tangible reality? Something we can touch and share proudly? Well, we need to set some milestones or markers that help us identify that we have progressed in our journey toward our endpoint. That is what a goal is! A flag, a stake in the ground that you work towards to allows you to see a tangible shift in your progress towards your endpoint.
It is easy to just through a flag at a random location and deem that a worthy spot but does it really get you to where no need to be? Is it really en route to your destination or is it an unnecessary detour that takes you away from your purpose and your path?
Goal setting is an important part of the entrepreneurial journey because we tend to dream big. We formulate grand ideas and schemes and we can easily trivialise the sheer enormity of our dream, not realising the journey before us and the need for adequate flags along the way.
Having goals is also key to your well-being as you can set 'rest' points at certain key markers, whatever those markers may be for you.

I hope you enjoy this episode as I share my experiences transparently.
