100 Greatest Inventions

In this episode we have a mini-sequel to the rocket episode looking at spacecraft. We see how the launch of Sputnik supercharged the development of spacecraft as the two superpowers aimed towards the Moon. We see how the US victory of the spacerace led to the development of spacestations in the 1970s until the end of the Cold War when the two space superpowers worked together to launch the International Space Station.
