Jeremy takes us through his journalism career in Calgary that has spanned over 15 years, writing for a number of local publishers before founding The Sprawl, a crowdfunded and ad-free pop-up journalism publication. Pop-up journalism may be a term you’ve yet to hear as it's a new wave of journalism that takes a more nuanced approach to stories rather than the click-bait approach we’re used to seeing in mainstream media. As Founder and Editor of The Sprawl, Jeremy leads his team and goes deep into specific stories from certain periods of time to give Calgarians a deeper understanding of our city.
