BIO:

Hailing from Huntington Beach, California, Christina immersed and expressed herself in the alternative art, music, fashion, grunge and subcultural scenes that were unique to working-class Orange County in the 1990’s and early 2000’s.

She foremost was and is a discoverer and tastemaker of two things that bring her purpose: fashion and music. Both fueled her inspired imagination while she studied Communications and Law at UCLA, graduating ahead of schedule to pursue a public relations career in entertainment and lifestyle industries.

She lived in Los Angeles and San Francisco before relocating to New York City as a freelance fashion stylist. Her career began on sets for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Numero, Elle and GQ before beginning work with her celebrity clients for their red carpets, press appearances and music videos. She continues to work intimately with a growing list of celebrity clientele, and also regularly styles ad campaigns, television shows and commercials and fashion editorials for major American and international publications. More than just a celebrity stylist, Christina is an image consultant in leading the planning, creation and evolution of a celebrity’s image through their wardrobe, accessories and strategic designer partnerships.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:

Any work that you do requires hustle. When you find something you love, you’re more motivated to work harder and hustle harder.
There has been significant progress with size inclusivity in the fashion industry over the last few decades. Christina has played an important role in that progress through her work styling clients like Laverne Cox.
Eco-conscious fashion is extremely important in the fight against climate change. As a stylist, Christina is intentional about making eco-friendly choices and reducing as much waste as she can within her work. It starts with small, intentional changes!
