मार्गः अनुसरणीयः

अहङ्कारद्वेषलोभमोहादीन् त्यक्त्वा जीवनं यापनीयम् इति कश्चन महात्मा कस्मिंश्चित्त् प्रवचनकार्यक्रमे जनान् उपदिशति स्म । कश्चन श्रोता आगत्य 'यद्यपि भवतः प्रवचनं प्रतिदिनं शृणोमि तथापि मयि कापि प्रगतिः न जाता' इति अवदत् । तयोः मध्ये सम्भाषणं प्राचलत् । प्रश्नोत्तरानन्तरं महात्मा 'यथा भवद्ग्रामं प्राप्तुं विभिन्नाः मार्गाः स्युः, तथा प्रगतिं प्राप्तुम् अपि केचन मार्गाः भवितुम् अर्हन्ति । केवलेन उपदेशश्रवणेन न किमपि प्रयोजनम् । कश्चन मार्गः अनुस्रियताम् । मार्गानुगुणं फलं प्राप्येत' इति बोधितवान् ।

A saint was once giving a discourse, teaching that life should be lived free from ego, hatred, greed, and delusion. Afterward, a listener approached him and said: “Though I hear your teachings daily, I find no progress within myself”. The saint explained: “Just as there are many roads to reach your village, so too there are various paths to attain progress. Merely listening to teachings is of no use. One must choose and follow a path. Only then will the fruits of progress be attained”.

What is बालमोदिनी?

सम्भाषणसन्देशः इति संस्कृतमासिकपत्रिका (https://sambhashanasandesha.in) । एतस्यां पत्रिकायां प्रकाशिताः लेखाः, कथाः, बालकथाः, वार्ताः इत्यादिकं सर्वम् अपि सरलसंस्कृतेन एव प्रकाश्यते । तत्रत्याः “बालमोदिनी”नामिकाः बालकथाः अत्र प्रसार्यन्ते । अतः अस्याः शृङ्खलायाः नाम अपि “बालमोदिनी” एव । लघु गात्रं, सरला भाषा च कथानां विशेषः । प्रत्येकं कथा काञ्चित् नीतिं बोधयति । बालकथाः आबालवृद्धं सर्वेषां प्रियाः । संस्कृतेन ताः श्रोतुम् उपलब्धाः भवन्तु इति एषः प्रयत्नः श्रोतृभ्यः अवश्यं रोचेत इति विश्वासः । संस्कृतक्षेत्रे संस्कृतेन पॉड्कास्ट् क्रियमाणाः एताः प्रप्रथमाः कथाः इति सगौरवम् उद्घोष्यते ।
