When we experience inner conflict, it’s important to understand what the root cause of that conflict is. In my professional experience, the biggest roadblocks to being our true selves are people-pleasing and the need to fit in – but it’s important to understand exactly what is preventing YOU from being your most authentic self, as the answer is unique to each person. In this episode, we touch on the three conditions of being your true self: understanding your truth, speaking your truth and living your truth. There are four questions that I urge you to answer out loud to understand and speak your truth:
1. Being true to myself will mean ________
2. If I am true to myself, I could ________
3. If I were true to myself, I would let go of ________
4. How would being true to myself change my life?
In order to LIVE your truth you need to come back to these questions, read the answers out loud every day, and make sure your actions are aligned to them. Once you have completed this step, you can move onto step 3.
