Dr. Jerry Hendrix is a retired Navy captain and former Director of the Naval History & Heritage Command. He is the author of a book on Theodore Roosevelt's Navy and is a fellow with the Sagamore Institute. During this episode he and the Director of the US Naval Academy Museum discuss naval history ranging from the War of 1812, the Spanish-American War, and the benefits of reading, researching, and writing naval history.
