I'm just waiting on the right wave to ride

Hello from El Porto, California and the Americana Coast Podcast. This is your daily pep talk. When I was 12 years old trying to learn how to swim, I was in the shallow end practicing. I was just struggling. My instructor grabbed me, she said, come with me. She took me to the deep end. She said, jump in. I was like, you're crazy. She said, no, just jump in. I've got you. I'm here if anything happens. Trust yourself. You can do it.

And did, I jumped in, I went under, and I managed to get back to the top and tread the water. And I did okay. It was a life changing moment for me. Throughout my life, some of the most extraordinary experiences that I've had.

It's just been when I jumped into the deep end from my first surfing experience, jobs, challenges. So today, I encourage you, just jump in. You can do it. You can do it. Just jump in. And while you're doing it, be good to each other, be kind to each other, love on each other. We'll talk to you next time.
