Rabbit Hole Stories

In today’s episode, we spoke with Rick Messitt, a fellow Bitcoiner from Scotland and someone with a heartbreaking story.

Rick got onboard with Bitcoin in 2014 and has been stacking his Sats directly to a hardware wallet.

He was always managing his Bitcoin in self-custody. Unfortunately for him, the setup had a loophole, and his wallet was compromised. He lost all of his 25 Bitcoin but is here to explain what he did wrong and why people should be more cautious!
