Elon Musk’s Twitter Payments Leaves Dogecoin Fans Disappointed

Despite Elon Musk’s vocal support for Dogecoin, the meme inspired cryptocurrency is noticeably absent from Twitter’s new payments system.  The platform which was recently rebranded as X,  launched a fiat payments system allowing users in supported markets to send and receive money.

While the initial rollout is limited to fiat currency, many expected Dogecoin to be given priority given Musk’s previous enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency.

This move has left many Dogecoin enthusiasts puzzled and disappointed.  Will Dogecoin eventually be integrated into X’s payment system? Only time will tell.
