He shares some product and marketing lessons he's learned since first starting embermap.com 5 years ago, including breaking up the MVP into distinct user flows, writing out each URL the site must support along with its content in a note, choosing to do a soft launch and iterating right from the beginning, and making sure to invest enough time in marketing so that people can actually find out the new site exists.
