The Shaun McCambridge Podcast

This podcast features Anthony Yap, Managing Director at Good Price Pharmacy Franchising (https://www.goodpricepharmacy.com.au/) . At 23 years old he saved up $50,000 between three jobs and raised enough capital to buy his first pharmacy. He worked across all roles in the business from pharmacy assistant, warehouse coordinator, stock controller, manager, the pharmacist in charge, and everything else in between. By doing everything from the ground up there was complete accountability for success and it set up really good processes and procedures.
“The biggest career changing moment was when a competitor opened up 2 doors down from us, 2 weeks before we were set to open our third store. They gave us the ultimatum of closing down or they would spend $3million to put our business in the ground. That was the career defining moment as it made us improve faster than we ever would have done in any other situation. We knew from then we could compete nationally”. – Anthony Yap
This podcast explores Anthony’s sheer persistence in taking a business from conception to a $300 million chain of pharmacies.
