Dave Slade is a chemical engineer in the biofuels industry. Slade talks with Vance Crowe about the energy industry discussing how energy is stored, the challenges facing the renewable energy, and the future of energy. Slade thinks that electric cars have been overhyped and will not provide the towing power that can be created in a liquid gas vehicle.
Slade is Executive Director, Biofuel Technology & Services at Renewable Energy Group. Slade has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University.
