It's odd that in every other province (Quebec government is appealing the case they lost) except Manitoba you can grow up to four cannabis plants per household. One man, followed by a growing list of supporters is hoping to change that.
Jesse Lavoie is launching a constitutional challenge against the law banning recreational growing, which comes with a fine of more than $2,500. Jesse explained the reasons why home growing isn't allowed (hint, they don't make sense as you are allowed to grow for medicinal purposes) and where he's at with the challenge. There is some hypocrisy going on with the name though, you aren't allowed to call it Pina Colada which is what the strain really is, but White Russian is allowed? Anyway, it's grown using Aeorponics - another new term to learn - and it's grown well.
