Yes, that’s right, a month that we promised right back when we started in 2017 is finally here, and we kick things off in style by going over the 1997 hit that saw James Bond and Sarah Connor battle a volcano in Dante’s Peak! How epic is this movie? Why is this movie seemingly forgotten about all these years later? Is there more chemistry between Linda Hamilton and Pierce Brosnan than should be allowed on cinema? Is the opening scene necessary or is it just silly? Why do we love coffee coffee coffee guy so much? Why are all the evil people in this movie once again not actually evil? Are the kids annoying or fun? How terrible is the grandma and why is she the only character in this movie that deserves to die? Is Pierce just so charming that he can charm a volcano to stop erupting? Do the special effects hold up? Is this film more realistic than we remember? And seriously, how horrible is the grandma?
