यादृशं मनः तादृशः कायः

कदाचित् कश्चन काव्यकुशलः जैनाचार्यः किञ्चन महाकाव्यं रचयितुम् आरब्धवान् । कस्मिंश्चित् सर्गे जलधेः वर्णनं कर्तुम् आरभते । जलधेः विषयमेव सर्वदापि सः चिन्तयन् भवति । तन्मधे जलोदररोगेण ग्रस्तः भवति । सर्वं वृत्तान्तं ज्ञात्वा वैद्यः वदति 'जलधेः वर्णनं समाप्य मरुभूमेः वर्णनं करोतु' इति । जैनाचार्यः विस्मितः सन् अपि वैद्यस्य सूचनां श्रद्धया अपालयत् । जलोदररोगः शान्तः भवति । मनसि यादृशः विचारः क्रियते तादृशः एव प्रभावः शरीरे अपि भवति ।
