Whether depicted in movies, books, or even in our imagination, when we see a king they are typically being catered to or assisted by many different servants. Between royalty, wealth, or status, those in authority seem to have many at their disposal to serve their needs and wants. So how unique and heartwarming when we witness someone who could be served by many, choosing to serve those around (especially those possibly in a lower position then them)?! This week we continue our series, Giftwrapped: From Longing to Lavished, where we will unpack the covenant that God made with David in the book of 2 Samuel. There we will learn about God's promise of a messiah king to His people and even as king, Jesus Christ came to earth to serve us! Listen with us in our newest message, The King Who Serves!
