Challenge harmful social and gender norms by Engaging Faith Leaders and Communities (EFLC)

Our EFLC innovation is designed to prevent sexual and gender-based violence, in short SGBV, against women and girls in humanitarian settings. The approach targets the root causes of SGBV – specifically social and gender norms.

What is EFLC?

Sadly, sexual and gender-based violence is still a daily reality in many parts of the world. It’s a persistent problem and so only in a joint effort will we be able to address this issue. How can we engage faith leaders and communities in East-Congo in sexual and gender-based violence prevention in humanitarian settings?

In this podcast we will share with you what this experiment was all about and how it was implemented. It compliments the written report that is also available, enriching it with stories from beneficiaries and partners in the project.
