You know Cam Moon for his longtime career as the voice of the Red Deer Rebels in the WHL, but did you know he listens to ball games on the bus, coaches baseball and his son played pro ball in Europe this year? To say he is a fanatic is putting it mildly and Jordan and Dean had a really fun conversation with him in this week's episode. Cam grew up in the North Side of Edmonton and that's about the only thing he doesn't have in common with South Sider Jordan. Dean spent a lot of time with Mooner while he worked for RDTV and the two spent a few nights at the ball park this summer watching Jordan's Prospects. Cam gave us his thoughts on the WCBL and what makes it such a great fit in Edmonton and he told us some of his wicked Edmonton Trapper memories. We also discussed the Top 5 nicknames in baseball and went through some of the great listener submissions. It was a wild weekend for the Cubs, while MLB managerial vacancies are a plenty. Hopefully soon there will be good news for the Prospects regarding ReMax Field as well.
