The disciples want the power and glory of God’s kingdom without the path of the cross. Luke 9 confronts our desire for a convenient Jesus and shows that following Him means surrendering our status, retaliation, and competing loyalties. 

What is One Chapter?

One Chapter is a daily rhythm for people who want to spend more time in Scripture without making it complicated.

Each weekday, we’ll read one chapter of the Bible together and spend a few minutes reflecting on one thought to carry into the day. No seminary degree required. No pressure to have all the answers. Just Scripture, a little space to listen, and an invitation to let what we read shape how we live.
