QUOTES

Erica: "I've always been working with clients as a clinician and I decided, you know what, why don't I just take a leap of faith and get my clinical license and really start my own practice especially because there weren't enough mental health providers for Latinos."

Erica: "It's lonely and infuriating and exhausting to constantly be aware of race and not have the same be true of white colleagues and professors who overwhelmingly make up the profession. So I found solace with other social workers of color that they validated my experience with racism and microaggressions in the workplace and shared similar sights."

Erica: "Erica: "I'm a big, big proponent of training and coaching incredible students and young social workers to ask for raises, to ask for equitable salaries, to really know their worth, to know what their bottomline is, to really understand the language. And if we start speaking that language and supporting each other and not being shy about speaking about money, we're going to be able to enter into these spaces."

What is Dr. B Show?

I love to help people. I love being a resource for everyone and know when someone has a question regarding their personal finances and business finances, they can contact me. In addition, I believe in the law of reciprocity and it is not just about receiving but also giving. I get excited when someone needs assistance in something and even if I don't have the solution, I know someone that usually does. I am a huge New York Mets Fan, New York Giants Fan, MMA Fan, and Pro-Wrestling Fan. Fun Fact, I have been to 16 WrestleManias. Lastly, I am also an International Best-Selling Author for my book entitled "Networking Your Way to Success: 10 Steps to Building Relationships & Expanding Your Business for Entrepreneurs & Working Professionals."
