Reading 2 Kings Chapter 9

Elisha gives instructions to a young man who is one of the sons of the prophets to anoint Jehu as the next king of Israel and give Jehu instructions to wipe out the male line of Ahab and fulfill the prophecy of Elijah from 1 Kings 21:20-24. Jezebel gets dressed up when she hears trouble is coming, soon after which two of her eunuchs throw her out of a window and Jehu tramples her right before he goes to eat.
