Jeremiah 1:5–10
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you… Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ for you shall go to all to whom I send you… Do not be afraid… Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: ‘Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.’”
Jeremiah chapter 1 tells us that God said to Jeremiah, “Before you were formed, I knew you. Before you were born, I set you apart. Do not say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you will go where I send you and speak what I command. Do not be afraid, for I am with you.”
Then the Lord touched Jeremiah’s mouth and said, “I have put My words in your mouth. I have set you over nations to uproot, tear down, build, and plant.”
Just like Jeremiah, you and I were created for a divine purpose. We may feel unqualified, but God equips those He calls. It’s not our ability—it’s His power working through each one of us.
Today, I want to encourage you: trust Him. Step forward now in faith, and walk boldly in the calling that He Himself has placed on your life.
Talk to God about it.
It’s time to pray.
