Sanity at the Movies

Sanity at the Movies talks about Sleeping Beauty (1959) by Walt Disney.

Show Notes

Sleeping Beauty wasn't considered aa success when it came out and it was the last Disney fairy tale for thirty years. But it holds up as one of the most beautiful-to-look-at animated films ever made. Does this make it one of the best? Well, you can't discount Maleficent, one of the most terrifying villains in, well, anything. And Aurora and Phillip make a good couple, and Pastor Jake loves it more than anything in the world. But Nathan has some problems with the story. WHAT WILL BECOME OF SANITY AT THE MOVIES???
