Show Notes

In this episode of PrePost the guys dive into the new Wolverine film, or is it an X-Men movie?

Both Jon and Matt were big fans of the last "stand alone" collaboration between Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold - The Wolverine - with the Logan trailer seeming to promise a continuation of this dramatic, characters based storytelling. Logan also raises the question, is it enough to just ratchet up the violence and brooding atmosphere in order to call a film "mature"?

Join Matt & Jon as they discuss the trailer for Logan. Then - after the film has been released - they return to discuss the feature itself.

What is The PrePost Film Review?

In each episode of The PrePost Film Review hosts Jon Asquith and Matt Stephenson discuss a film over two distinct periods.

First - brief, spoiler free impressions of a trailer upon its release. Followed by a spoiler-filled review recorded months later once the film hits cinemas.

A thoughtful and occasionally funny look at how trailers represent films.
