In Mishneh Torah, Hilchot De’ot (Laws of Character Traits) 5:11, we learn a remarkable thing. Not to be boastful, or arrogant, but to strive to be humble in all our ways. The Rambam teaches us the importance of humility. He says, “One should always strive to be from the disciples of Aaron the Priest, who loved peace and pursued peace, who loved people and brought them closer to the Torah.”   Just imagine, being known not for your accomplishments, but for your character.  For your kindness, for your humility, for your ability to bring people together.
