It’s way too easy to get stuck in the churn of what’s happening right now, and we have to focus on the next big guest, your next recording date, that next launch and the product you’ll have next year. That’s part of being a podcaster and business owner and being a high achiever. You always have to be looking around corners and figuring out what’s next before your competition does.
It can be really hard to get out of this mindset, because it’s so critical to the success of most parts of our lives, but for most podcasters I know, that’s distracting you from the treasure trove of what you’ve already created.
