Christian Zyp interviews Braden Cannon (Private Records Archivist) from the Provincial Archives of Alberta about their 38th annual FIlm Night Event, THE VIEW FROM ALBERTA: FILMS OF TOM RADFORD. The event takes place Friday September 18th, 2026 at Metro Cinema at 6:30PM. Admission is FREE. The screening will be proceeded by a Q&A with Tom Radford.
Tom Radford - acclaimed Alberta filmmaker, producer, and member of the Order of Canada. Radford has spent his career as an independent filmmaker and National Film Board of Canada producer to documenting the lives, struggles, and triumphs of regular people in the contexts of environmental conservation, Treaty rights, land and water use, and settlement in Alberta and western Canada..
