A man growing in maturity needs to learn to accept himself. This is not a replacement for drive, for focus, for pushing toward excellence. This is simply being confident and embracing who God has made you to be. It is accepting you for you, as Jesus does. And it is fostering progress in a spirit of health rather than a spirit of desperation.

Learn the truth behind the scenes. We tend to look at men who are leading, writing, podcasting, preaching--you name it--as having it all put together. We tend to see them as above us. It's simply not true.
