InterVarsity World Changers

InterVarsity Alumna Jessie Thomas had no idea that her love for food and hospitality would open so many doors: personal chef, cooking on local television, hanging out with Cookie Monster (to name a few). But nothing compared to her experience as a crew member on the Food Network's reality cooking series Chopped. During their marathon recording sessions each day, Jessie got to work alongside hurt and anxious people; people who became lifelong friends and who experienced the love of Jesus. All because Jessie made room at the table and provided a listening ear.

What is InterVarsity World Changers?

We all know that everyone wants to change the world. But what does it mean to be a world changer? During our time in InterVarsity, we learn that a World Changer is defined by a life committed to loving God, his Word, his people, and his purposes. Through the InterVarsity World Changers podcast, we are celebrating stories of God's world-changing work in and through alumni like you. These stories will encourage and inspire you as you join God in your context and continue your own journey as a world changer. Go change that world, Alumni!
