Show Notes
Jo McNamara and Naman Julka-Anderson catch up with Natasha Pisarski, Kylie Sheppard and Jeni Hart as part of Education and Workforce Development Series (Part 15).
Discussion about the return to practice scheme.
To use this podcast as CPD, look at these reflection points:
1) Does your workplace have a return to practice offer set up? If not, how could you facilitate this? Utilise the Health Education England Quick Guide to Support you with this.
2) Focus on what you can offer a returnee and be flexible to support their return. What pastoral support will you put in place so they feel welcome and wanted back in the workplace?
3) Consider diverse placement opportunities for returnees- not all returnees want to return to clinical practice, some may welcome the opportunity to return in education, research and leadership posts.
