Loras hosts its annual Peace & Justice Week September 17-23. Hannah Eby and Melissa Torres share insights into this year's slate of events, including a speech by Nobel Peace Prize Winner Jody Williams on September 21, the International Day of Peace.

The events for Peace & Justice Week include:
Saturday 9/17
12-1 pm: 2-mile Solidarity Walk to Support Refugees. Meet outside of Christ the King Chapel and end at Clarke (rides back to Loras are provided).
Free barbeque meal at Clarke afterwards hosted by Dubuque NAACP
Wednesday 9/21 (International Day of Peace)
7-8:30pm, Loras Ballrooms Keynote: Nobel Peace Prize Winner Jody Williams. Free reception after.
Thursday 9/22
5-7 pm, Wild Church at Sinsinawa- (Community gathering/service to honor our connection to Creator and creation). Sign-up required.
Friday 9/23
2-4 pm Waste Awareness Trolley Tour followed by Loras campus clean-up! Sign-up required.
