The Marie Embodied Podcast

In this episode, I'm unpacking one of the most complicated dynamics women face: the pressure to stay likable, agreeable, and digestible.

From an early age, many women learn that standing out can come with the consequences of judgment, exclusion, comparison, criticism, and projection. As a result, we learn to shrink ourselves, downplay our accomplishments, soften our opinions, and dim our light to avoid making others uncomfortable.

This conversation will challenge you to think about what it means to take up space, own your success, and support other women without seeing their power as a threat. It's time to stop shrinking and start shining.

Unmasking the Shadow ( 1:1 Somatic Work)
Within every person lives an unexpressed shadow - aspects of the self that have been hidden, rejected and pushed away due to trauma, pain and cultural conditioning. The shadow contains our deepest pain, and, when integrated, has the potential to reveal our greatest gifts, purpose and magic. In Unmasking the Shadow we'll work with somatic (body-based) tools to peel back layers of conditioning and create a space for your wild and authentic self to flourish.  Learn more.
