Many people wonder if God's grace truly extends to their particular struggles and failures. The story of Hagar in Genesis reveals three powerful truths about grace: it meets you where you are, not where you think you should be; it works through your weakness, not around it; and it doesn't leave you where it found you. When Hagar found herself alone and desperate in the wilderness, God showed up and saw her at her lowest point. She called Him 'El Roi' - the God who sees. Grace isn't a reward for good performance but a response to your surrender, available right now exactly as you are.
