Company Interviews

Interview with Marcio Fonseca, Director of GR Silver Mining (TSX-V: GRSL)

Show Notes

GR Silver considers Plomosas and San Marcial to be the most important projects in the mining district. The Company controls key concessions adjacent to important projects in the Rosario Mining District and is therefore well placed for continued growth and to take advantage of future business opportunities. The Company possesses all exploration licenses and permits required for exploration on both projects and, in the case of Plomosas, it also has necessary permits for exploitation.

The Plomosas Project is located approximately 5 km to the northwest of GR Silver’s San Marcial Project, in the Rosario Mining District, Sinaloa, allowing synergies for exploration, drilling, resource expansion and future development. Both projects present a geological setting, located along the western edge of the Sierra Madre Occidental (SMO), resembling the San Dimas Mining District, which has produced 600 Moz silver and 11 Moz gold. The Plomosas Project includes an extensive un-released recent and historical drilling database completed by First Majestic Inc. and Grupo Mexico S.A. de C.V. The combined infrastructure and data between the projects offer the opportunity for integration of exploration and future resource definition in a series of drilled targets. Together, the Plomosas Project and the San Marcial Project provide GR Silver ownership of over 9,764 ha. In total, the Company portfolio consists of over 29,000 ha, controlling most of the silver-gold-lead-zinc mineralized zones identified in the eastern Rosario Mining District.
