We take a trip to Thailand tonight, a country gifted in so many manners but music being a prime example over the decades. It has also inspired one of the best current acts going in the world, which is the Texas trio Khruangbin. In 2015 the band put out The Universe Smiles Upon You, but also put out a KILLER Thai funk mixtape prior to release which informs & inspires our first hour selections this evening. For our 2nd hour, we got on the plane once again with Lizz Kalo, giving more of a showcase of the pop & hip-hop sides of Thailand, finishing up back home at ICN in Korea for a couple of pop classics to finish off the voyage.
