Today's episode is a little shorter but I wanted to take some time to talk a little about my views on body image and self acceptance. CrossFit created a movement from being SLIM to being STRONG however CrossFit did NOT leave behind the comparison game and the constant need to feel accepted. If anything, it created ONE MORE METRIC for us to measure our worth on. Towards the end of the episode, i also dive into some of the guilt associated with others not being supportive of our personal fitness goals and sometimes even dismissing them. Whether you have 5 pounds to lose 50 pounds to lose, or 150 pounds to lose, let the journey drive you to be a better person. Don't let the pursuit of the destination steal you from the personal growth you will experience to achieve it.
