Ashley Schmidt is the president and founder of Women in Healthcare--an international organization that promotes professional development and empowerment of women in health care. The organization supports and facilitates the growth of its members through mentorship, and by women-owned businesses sharing successful techniques, leads, contacts, products, and services. In her spare time, Ashley is also the Vice President of business development for HKS, an international design firm overseeing the design of hospitals worldwide. Ashley and Kim discuss gender equality in leadership, the importance of community, the need for evolution, and actual changes in organizations.
