Coming up next on The Jeff Crilley Show, we're gonna talk to the founder of an amazing coaching academy. They teach people how to become models and role models. Next. Many are predicting that the worst is yet to come, which is unfortunate, said one person here. Until now, they've enjoyed the reputation of being the nation's icebox. Watched a burglar in his home this morning by webcam. As a journalist of over twenty five years, stories are what make my world turn. Reporting live from The Dallas News from tonight, Jeff Crilley, Fox four news. But in 2008, I took the the jump from my familiar life and started a PR firm from my home. We're talking about anyone with a camcorder like the one I'm using becomes a television network. We started slowly growing the company, and we now have over a 100 clients. And we've branched into the world of live digital broadcasting. Broadcasting. I now own eight different TV studios and have a huge team, and the stories that I now get to share are sometimes the most important of my life. Life has a funny way of coming around full circle. This is The Jeff Crilley Show. When I think about the world of modeling, I think about all the discipline and the punctuality and the confidence that it teaches you. And so I can't think of a better guest to bring back into the studio than Neetu Rishi. She is the CEO and founder of The Success Store. And she is joined by a former model turned designer, and her name is Neha Gold. And we're gonna talk to both of you about this, amazing academy that you guys have. Let's start with you, Neetu. Tell us about the, the academy, and and how did this start for you? So the success story, I started because it started with my daughter. She used to have a lot of self doubts, and I worked on her strength areas, you know, focusing on what she owns, increasing the self esteem and transforming her life through real time projects and I realized that it helped. Now she's one of the most confident person in the room. That gave me a purpose. I was always in a corporate job, easy paycheck coming, luxury. But I think we all have that purpose inside us. Something was calling. So I decided to give away that luxury paycheck. I said, let's say yes to my purpose. And that's when I started Success Store. It's again helping students, adults, what do you have the strengths? What is something that they are good at? And then elevating that and side by side working on the areas of improvement. And staying with you for a second, we're going to show some video from a previous event that you held and your academy has really grown over the years. What year did you start? It started in 2019. 2019. And what what have you seen in the last few years? I think every day, if once I feel, oh, I have done this, now it's autopilot. It's easy. I can enjoy my life as a CEO. But I think, no, it doesn't work that way. Every day I wake up with a challenge. Every time I have to reinvent the wheel. Yes. But more than that, at the end of the day, I sleep with contentment. When I see someone's life has transformed, helping them grow in their personal life, professional life, know, I think that's one thing success for me. And I love that. Just staying with you for a couple more minutes. The confidence piece, because there are a lot of academies that can teach people how to walk a runway. Mhmm. Yours is different, isn't it? Mhmm. It is. It is different. I feel it all starts with a mindset. I've seen girls walking, but if they have something going on in their head that I'm not beautiful, I don't look great, someone is forcing them to walk, they are not themselves. So first, I work with the mindset, building that confidence, and then I coach them on the runway and the posing. And, Neha, you have been with the Academy how long? It's been two years. I started as a model. Yes. I walked for a fly show PS season four, and then Neetu gave me wings again, and I became a designer. I'm actually fulfilling my passion, my creativity. Like Neetu said, we all are we have a luxurious life, but then we all have a passion and a purpose. And I think designing is what my purpose is. Mhmm. And I think it's a big leap to go from model to designer. When you come up with your amazing designs, and we're we have some beautiful models in the studio that we'd we'll introduce in a minute. What are the challenges and pressures that you feel to come up with the right look? I think our purpose is to have not just an outfit, but it's it should be suiting the personality of the model or the clients that are coming in for a for a design with us. It should be fulfilling what they want to wear, not just as an outfit, but as a personality. How the fabric can suit their personality? What can we bring out of their personality that can suit the fabric? That's that's the purpose of the designs that we're designing. Yes. And we're gonna pull up your website, and on the website are some beautiful images. Who should come to your academy? What what kind of person are you I feel the first who, anytime, had those self doubts that someone told me I'm not enough, I cannot do this. Those are the people I'm looking for to help them because they have so much of potential, but they're not letting it out because someone told them you cannot do this. You have to get rid of that. So I want to be that one person who can help them. Secondly, if anyone wants to pursue fashion, it could be modeling. For example, Neha. She started as a model. She built her confidence and then she shared once that I have a passion. I always wanted to be a designer. I said, okay, let's give you the wings. And that's why we have our fashion academy by the name Fly. And then somehow things align. And you won't believe me together. We have done multiple shows. We started with Dallas Fashion Week. Mhmm. We did New York Fashion Week two times. And last year, we went to Paris Fashion Week. Wow. Yes. She was selected for Paris Fashion Week, and she showcased 13 of beautiful outfits at Paris Fashion Week International. Well, I'm feel I feel like I'm on the red carpet, so I should ask who are you wearing. We'll start with you. I am definitely wearing Neha's Goyal's Gemini heels. She always designs something which suits my personality. I always say my height is five one, but my confidence is six two because I feel good in what she creates. I love that. Mhmm. Neha? You're wearing I'm wearing myself. This is an outfit from Gemini Hughes, my brand, which we which I founded, like, a year back. And the idea is to bring the Indian textile Indian heritage textile into some modern way where every woman can understand or where what our culture has to offer. And talk a little bit about colors and fabrics. And when you're designing an outfit, what are you looking for? Like I said, I'm originally from India. India has a huge fabric. India was a textile heritage, and it has a huge silk fabrics and the motifs, the design, the embroidery work. India is very famous for the embroidery work. So when we design, it's not just Indian fabrics, but we create a design which could include the modern designs into the Indian textile fabrics. So, like, what I'm wearing right now is a dress which has all the embroidery from the Indian textile, and that's what our vision is for the brand. As a collaboration, also, we try to Mhmm. Bring that vision together. Alright. So, the highlight of the show is introducing the models. So why don't we have our first model take her place, and then I want you guys to both describe what she's wearing. And, you do have an event coming up. Yes. We do. Yeah. So it's about So it. I have this event, a fly showcase. It's our season six. This is once a year that I do a event where it's an annual event for all the models that we have worked throughout the year to give them that first stage, the first platform. But the beauty of this event, it it comes with a theme. Every year, there is a theme behind it. We started with doing a med gala, a big fat Bollywood wedding. We had last year five elements of universe. This year, the theme is art and the name is artmosphere. So we are trying to bring in all the artistic styles, the outfits that we both are wearing. Now this is a great embroidery which is jute based. This was designed in India. So this time, all the designers, they are coming up with their vision of showing colors and a different kind of an art that their collection has. Yes. And you have models of all shapes and sizes. Oh, yes. Let's me do it. Your first model, I think she is seven feet tall. Are you gonna let you describe what is she wearing? So she's actually wearing from a designer Martha Ruiz. She's a Colombian celebrity designer. Now what Helen is wearing, our model, it's a beautiful yellow color gown and it has this intrigue embroideries on the sides if you see on the borders and to give that artistic shape, she has created all these flaps on the top. Now, the beauty of this designer is she says that sometimes we we have so much of stress in our lives. So she believes in colors and I said, yes. Colors are something that we are looking for in our show this time. So that's Helen. It's beautiful dress. Really beautiful. Okay. We'll get our next model up. And, when people come to these events, tell us what they should expect. They should expect, first of all, a very safe space. There's no one who's judging each other. I remember last year, we had two celebrity models from New York. When they walked out, you know, said, we have done so many shows all over the world. But there is something there's something different. The vibe, it's very positive. Yes. I said yes because we have nurtured it with love. No one is jealous of anyone. Everybody's helping each other. Mhmm. So I think that's one thing which is beautiful. Alright. I think we're ready for our second model. So let why don't you describe this? Yes. So she is Neha Dev Pandey, and she's also a title holder, miss North Asia America. And then what she's wearing is again Martha Ruiz. It's again, if you see colors, but it has added all those glitters. It has a beautiful cape and it's a corset style from the top, very beautifully fitted to enhance, and it can be worn with a dress, with a jumpsuit. Right now, Neha is wearing it with a black jumpsuit. So, you know, just putting a piece on the top of anything Yes. Elevates the look. Well, I see so many of these fashion shows, and they're wearing something kind of, I'm gonna say this Uh-huh. From a man's perspective, just outrageous. Something that you you would never wear anywhere at any gala, but you're you guys are designing things that would You can wear anywhere. Yes. Exactly. Exactly. That's what Neha says. She says, I want to design the outfits that you can wear multiple times, not just once. Okay. We're gonna bring our next model up and when she's ready, we'll we'll describe her outfit. Alright. Here we go. So first of all, let me introduce. She is Karuna by Thomas. She's also the Fly brand ambassador. That means she represents our modeling school, she is actually a role model and the outfit that she's wearing now that's from designer Neha Gemini Hughes. I want you to explain the outfit. Please. This was a Paris collection piece. The Paris was was all about couture crystalline and the neck has a very beautiful force on them and all the beadwork and embroidery is all done in India and it has very beautiful red crystals embedded on it. Yes. And when you design it when you're designing it on paper, you have a vision. Mhmm. And the models really bring it to life. Yes. Yes. They do. Yes. The an outfit is nothing without the models. And what is it like when you see one of your designs on one of your clients? I feel very happy. I love dressing up people. I see my my whatever I vision on them, when they when they are just happy about it, it just give me immense joy to what I'm doing for the society when I my clients come in all shapes and sizes, like like, how you can help them to bring out the confidence. Same way, want them whatever they are wearing, they should be comfortable. Like you said, should they be wearing it multiple times. It should not be uncomfortable in that outfit. So that's what the vision is. Okay. And we have another look. Let's go ahead and go to yes. Or what are we looking at now? Okay. So this is a mermaid skirt with a mirror work top. And if you look at the cape, it has all the lines embroidered on it. It's an it's an embroidery work. Mhmm. And she's wearing a beautiful mirror corset that's also hand embroidered with all the jute fabric that comes in India. Wow. And that's our model, Garima. Absolutely breathtaking. It's been just a year she's joined, but the confidence, oh my god. Pulls it like anything. And she's gonna be a designer one day. I'm sure that's how it works. We have about two minutes left so I want you to give some final thoughts and maybe a call to action so your April event there's still a chance for people to attend or become sponsors? Yes. Definitely. We are always looking because in this because the theme is art, artmosphere. We are supporting local artists who have the passion and they have the art potential, but they cannot afford to go to events and exhibit. So we are inviting opening doors for 10 artists who can showcase their collection. They don't have to pay us anything. That will be our support. Yes. And then we'll also support other local artists by giving them a check that we do every year. So we would love to have anyone who believes in this, who believes to be a part of the community. We have tickets on Eventbrite. They can buy the tickets. Designer applications are closed. But yes, if anyone is looking to be a model, I still have a crash course. In one month, I believe I can get them ready for that runway. I love it. Actually, we we have time to show one more clip because Uh-huh. You put out a lot of content and a lot of tips. Mhmm. I found one that I really like. Let's go on. Thank you. Hey, everyone. Welcome to episode 96 of Wednesday Voice. Yesterday, I was talking to someone in this line stuck in my head. She said, passion without a drive is just a hobby. It's so beautiful. So today, I want to share this magic formula. If you have a passion or a hobby and you're planning it to convert it into business, make sure you have a checklist on a b c, where a stands for accept all the challenges that comes your way with smile, with a big smile. B stands for build the drive. Every morning, have that enthusiasm in you to accept something new, reinvent the wheel, work hard, and c stands for commit before success knocks your door. Success will come later. You have to be committed. You have to take the ownership. Besides a b c, there are more d onwards for which you might have to join my course. But meanwhile, say yes to the life that you always wanted. Say yes to passions, but follow APC. See you next Wednesday. Bye bye. And I encourage all my viewers to follow her on social media because you're on all the platforms and you give away some such great just thinking last time when I came I think we were on episode 10 or 11. I'm about to complete 100. That's amazing. Congratulations. Thank you. I'll give you the final word. What would you like to leave people with? I just want to say that we we are always scared of reaching out to someone for help. If you need help, reach out to someone who can help you. We are always there to support you, that's how the community grows and that's how we can be happy in our life. Beautiful way to end the show. We're also gonna leave you with her website which is thesuccessdoor.com. Thank you so much for joining us. Thank you so much Jeff for having us. Thank you to models. That's it for now.
