In this message, Ovi explores the remarkable encounter between Jesus and Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10), a wealthy chief tax collector who was despised by his own people, lonely despite his riches, and desperate to catch just a glimpse of Jesus from his hiding place in a tree—revealing that Jesus doesn’t wait for us to clean up our lives or become worthy before He enters our world, but instead comes to us where we are and transforms us from the inside out. Through Ovi’s own powerful story of feeling unworthy, he shows how Jesus responds to our brokenness with radical love and friendship, and how His presence in our lives makes genuine, immediate change inevitable—not because He demands it, but because encountering Him compels us to become who He created us to be. As you listen, hear Ovi’s challenge: Whatever mess your life is in right now, whatever you think disqualifies you from God’s love, Jesus is calling you by name—will you climb down from your tree of hiding and welcome Him into your home?
