It was a good Valentines weekend for the men's and ladies' footballers of Carlow with both teams maintaining their 100 percent records in the league.

The men beat Tipperary 1-=17 to 1-14 in Semple Stadium while the ladies over4came Offaly 2-8 to 12 points in Kilcormac. The camogie team were unluck top miss out against Derry, losing by a point, that game will be covered by Camán Caint.
