Minds of Men

Today’s guest is Olumide Ajulo. Join us as we explore male friendships and how they affect our day-to-day lives.
Olu is the Counselling Team Manager at Leeds Beckett University, and is also a Therapist and Supervisor in private practice.
He is a Senior Accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and is trained in DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy).

DBT is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy designed to treat intense emotions, self-harm, and borderline personality disorder (BPD). It balances emotional regulation and acceptance, with change-oriented strategies, teaching skills to manage distress and improve relationships.
Olu’s master's research is into “Factors that affect how men engage with university mental health services.”
