Change Your Garment | Matthew 22:1–14
In this spiritually challenging teaching, we examine Jesus’ parable of the wedding feast in Matthew 22:1–14. The King prepared a wedding feast for His Son and extended the invitation, but one guest was found without the proper wedding garment.
What does the wedding garment represent, and why is it essential for those who desire to enter the Kingdom of God?
This message explores the call to salvation, the identity of Christ as the Bridegroom, the Church as His bride, and the responsibility of every believer to live a transformed life. We are challenged to remove the garments of the old man, reject the works of the flesh, and put on Christ through righteousness, holiness, and the fruit of the Spirit.
Drawing from scriptures including Romans 13:12–14, Ephesians 4:20–24, Isaiah 61:10, Galatians 3:27, and Galatians 5:22–24, this teaching reminds us that our wedding garment is the righteousness of Christ, and we must be clothed in Him.
The invitation has been extended. The question is: Have you changed your garment?
